Founded in 1953 and trademarked in 1954 as “Sri Vidya Upasaka,” the brand was established by (Late) Sri S. V. Venkatasubramania Dikshidar, a devoted Srividya upasakar and ardent devotee of Ambal. Guided by the blessings of Lord Karpagambal & Kapaleeshwarar and Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the journey began with a sacred promise — to deliver pure manjal and kunkumam to households, temples, and mutts.
